Multifunction timer with display, 8 different functions. e.g. 0.01-99990 seconds activation or KIP function. Operation 12VDC, one switch set - 10A relay output. Activation with plus 12V.

Note: discontinued and replaced by our model 2000.2235

Multifunction timer/universal timer that can be used for many different purposes (plus activated).

The multi-function timer can be programmed to run 1 out of 8 different functions. The timer is for 12VDC operation, has a contact set with 10A/30VDC relay output.

The timer is easy to operate as it is equipped with:

  • Four digit digital display. It is possible to turn off the display to save power.
  • A red diode that lights up when the timer is connected to power.
  • Five blue diodes; one that lights up when the relay pulls and four diodes that indicate which setting function is being programmed or that runs when the relay is activated and the selected function is running.
  • Two screw terminals; The left screw terminal has terminals for: NO, COM and NO. The right screw terminal has terminals for: DC+, DC- and Input (CH1).

Applications

Function 1: +12V plus on input activates relay ON/OFF.
The relay runs for a set time, then is pulled until the input is activated again.

This function can be used where a delayed start/activation is needed. Eg. in connection with a smoke cannon, where the liquid must first be heated.

Function 2: +12V pulse on input activates relay OFF/ON.
The relay pulls for the set time, then goes into rest position.

This function can be used to control lights in a stairwell. The light turns on when you press the button and is on for the set time interval.

Function 3 & 4: Constant cycle. Times T1 and T2 run all the time without stopping.
Function 3 runs cycle T1 OFF and T2 ON - E.g. Can be used for a lamp that must flash continuously.
Function 4 runs cycle T1 ON and T2 OFF - E.g. Can be used to restart a circuit that needs it within a given time interval.

Function 5 Flip/Flop - KIP - ON/OFF function (switches between ON and OFF). NOTE No timer function.
Used, for example, in connection with a code keyboard that does not already have this function or as an expression in connection with a door or an alarm.

Function 6 activates the relay as long as the input is active. NOTE No timer function.
Can be used as an amplifier if the signal on another 12V device is not strong enough.

Functions 7 & 8: Cycle between times T1 and T2, the number of times you want.
Function 7 cycles T1 OFF and T2 ON
(T1 - Relay releases in selected time interval and T2 - relay pulls in selected time interval. This cycle runs the number of times the X10 option is set).
Can e.g. used where you want a delayed start/activation or in connection with a lock. Door 1 opens and closes after a set period of time. Door two opens and closes after a set time.
Function 8 cycles T1 ON and T2 OFF
(T1 - Relay pulls in selected time interval and T2 - relay releases in selected time interval. This cycle runs the number of times the X10 option is set).
NOTE: If the NO button/expression is to be used, connect it so that it controls the power supply or use the NC button. By pressing the button, the set cycle will run. (Applies to both functions 7 and 8).
