The gas detector is reliable. It is easy to see the status of the alarm. It has two LED indicators, one that shows that the device is receiving power, and one that will flash if the alarm is triggered.
How the gas detector works
The detector has encoded a limit value for the amount of gas in the air. Should this value be exceeded, the following occurs:
- The gas detector sends an alarm signal to the control panel.
- At the same time, the detector starts beeping (85dB) and the LED indicator on the detector starts flashing. This alerts the people in the house.
- In addition, an SMS is sent to the coded phone numbers. So even when you are not present in the house, you will be notified.
The detector requires a power supply (adapter included) and has a built-in back-up battery that will take over in the event of a power failure.
The connection to the rest of the alarm system is wireless, which makes it very easy to install.
The unit measures: H 121 x W 72 x D 45 mm.
