We carry in our range 2 different types of magnetic bolt locks.
One kind must be activated by power, which means that the bolt is only projected when the power is on. When the power is turned off - or in case of a power outage the bolt retracts. These are also known as Failsafe bolt locks.
The second type of magnetic lock has a built-in fail-security that will lock in case of an interruption of electricity - in other words the bolt will be pushed out and lock the door if the power is cut. These are also known as Failsecure bolt locks.
With a magnetic bolt lock the locking mechanicm can be controlled by e.g. an access control system, timers, fire alarm systems etc.
