For this alarm it is possible to use both wired and wireless equipment.
The master control has a built-in GSM sender for alarm calls to either private persons or to a security company.
The alarm has a built-in siren but we recommend that you only use external sirens, as we have seen examples of the master control being knocked of the wall. But no matter what it is a good idea to mount the master control so it is not easily seen and found (e.g. in a closet or similar), as the daily use primarily will be done by remote control.
A good advise is to mount the detectors with wires and the door/window sensors as wireless units, that way it is not possible jam the complete system with a signal interrupter.
If you don not have a fixed phone line available it is possible to buy a GSM terminal eg. model 6000.0300 and connect the supplied cable (remember to buy the right SIM-card - you are welcome to ask us).
The built-in emergency back-up battery ensures that the alarm also is functioning in case of a power outage.
Remember that the batteries in the wireless units will last app. 2 years, so make sure you have spare 3 Volt batteries as a reserve.
